Hello, my name is Mrs. Crystal Johnson. I currently teach 5th Grade Early American History at MIMS and this will be my second year.

I graduated from St. Cloud State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Social Studies Education and an emphasis (minor) in History. I grew up and  graduated in Milaca, a small town in Central Minnesota.

Aside from teaching, I have many hobbies including golfing, reading, riding horse, and traveling. I have a husband, one son, two cats, and one dog.

I stay involved in many different organizations that focus on Social Studies Education including the Minnesota Council for Social Studies Education, of which I am on the board of directors. I am very passionate about my subject as well as making the learning experience better for each student. I am fully committed to lifelong learning and looking forward to working with MIMS students this year!
